Today we’d like to introduce you to Cassie Leary.
Cassie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Cassie Leary and I am the owner of The White Cotton Boutique. I have always loved fashion, shopping, and helping others. Those three reasons are why I started my online clothing boutique. I first launched my boutique on May 13, 2019. I am based out of Spartanburg, SC. I love participating in local pop up shops. My clothing is offered to ladies sizes XS-3X in most styles. I believe everyone should feel beautiful in what they wear.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Overall, starting a new business is challenging, because it is all brand new! In the beginning, I struggled with getting my business license and learning about taxes. Once I was able to get the logistics worked out, things became a lot easier. I am all self-taught so it has definitely been a journey! I have had a lot of family and friend support from day 1 and that is what I credit a lot of my success too! Hard work and support from my customers.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Determination is huge! Difficulties will always come. It is all about how dedicated and determined you are to keep going. Never giving up, always pushing through.
